How the winners are chosen – Winner will be chosen using a random selection generator (we download the entries, remove duplicate entries then the winner is randomly selected).

Our daughter in law is Japanese, Akane Hussey. Our son, Michael is military and they (with
our 3 grandchildren) have been stationed in So. Korea. It will be 4 1/2 yrs until we see them. We have expressed to them the importance of teaching Japanese and value their tradition and heritage. It would be lovely to honor her with a gift like this! They will be back April 2024. I follow your recipes and enjoy the helpful suggestions you post. Akane cooked with me when she was in the U.S. I loved how she washed rice and prepared bento boxes. I learned to make fried rice..the Japanese way. We celebrate heritage meals with our grandchildren and will play music that accommodates the meal whether Asian, Italian, Polish, Mexican etc. Thank you for your recipes as they as not difficult. They contually inspire me.
