I've tweaked the recipe not using bacon but 2 egg yolks and supermarket wagyu beef mince from Aldi... Skipped the cinnamon used half beef stock half lamb stock cubes mash the cubes with oil into a paste.... Added aromat (msg savory flavoring mixture) paprika and turmeric to give it a distinct colour.... Tried a few combinations of seasonings with small amounts of meat to get a flavor like actual Donner meat will let everyone know Oh sorry thanks for the inspiration to make my own with my own twist

In reply to Alex. Yes, I am the same. How do you get it to stay on the rotisserie skewer? Maybe wrap in foil, pierce, cook for a bit till it holds shape, then take foil off
